After selling out a number of shows across the country in 2018, the red-headed, gleaming songbird by the name of Vera Blue is back to give fans even more. Accompanying the announcement of a vast array of festival appearances, Vera has let word slip of a 13 date, regional-focused, national tour. Sharing the tour announcement video with no less than a preview of a new single, “The Way You Love Me”, this upcoming year is turning out to be very exciting and rewarding for the lovely, driven performer and her audiences.
The national tour, taking place over the months of August and September, features a range of never-visited regional locations and a number of big-name music festivals. Bringing along long-time musical buddy Alex The Astronaut, Vera says she is “pumped to be bringing a new show featuring a few songs I’ve been working on recently.”
While our ears have only been blessed with 41 seconds of the new record, it is still safe to say that there is something big to come. With the much-anticipated drop said to be coming in the next couple of weeks, the preview hints at an airy and atmospheric, soft-electro bop, giving listeners something fresh and eager to look forward to.
Kicking off the year with music festival success and a beautiful range of releases, Vera’s heartfelt music and undeniably enchanting presence has touched and delighted many. Her jaw-dropping collaboration with Julia Stone and perfectly presented Mahogany Session confirms this and reveals her mature and impassioned nature.
