Punch Drunk Love – aleksiah

Breaking out the 80's pop energy, aleksiah is soundtracking our internal monologue as we hide in the corner of the crowded club. 'Punch Drunk Love' is everything you're looking for in a match - a queer, flirty, fun slice of pop perfection, with an underlying dosage of anxiety. aleksiah is proving herself time after time to be the future of Aussie pop, carrying the torch ignited by the icons like Kylie.

Carpool - Peach Fuzz

Peach Fuzz are soundtracking your sundrenched, springtime daydreams with the bright and charming 'Carpool'! One of the addictive tracks off their new EP, Isn't It Obvious?, Peach Fuzz carry the warmth of a day spent with friends, whilst breathing fresh air into the Aussie indie scene with their female-fronted, pop-infused tunes laced with nostalgia and ready to soundtrack your next Instagram post.

Baby Blue - Blanco Tranco

Blanco Tranco have just released their debut album, The Imagined Life, a dreamy shoegaze-pop record that balances introspect and melancholia through a journey of life and growth. Standout album track 'Baby Blue' was seven years in the making, morphing from a tale of failed relationship woes into a more mature retrospective story.

This, Forever – Cry Club

Naarm (Melbourne) based favourites Cry Club are back with the third release of their new era, this time diving into the love you'll hold for someone during complex times, even if you're looking the same way through different lenses. 'This, Forever' carries more nostalgia and reservation than the duo's previous singles of 2025, as if offering a hug or outreached hand rather than jumping directly into the core of the argument. The sonic nod to their first album, God I'm Such A Mess, leads 'This, Forever' to feel like the ultimate Cry Club release, representative of the politically fueled fire and contrasting tender emotion that audiences have proven to love from the duo.

Orange Juicy – Miss Orange Juicy

A fresh burst of vitamin C is coming our way from a brand new duo and their affinity for fizzy pop, meet Miss Orange Juicy! This duo are serving us a tall glass of our favourite fruit with their debut release 'Orange Juice', a tune dubbed to be the "theme song" to their world. Miss Orange Juicy aren't your run-of-the-mill indie band, they're exciting, bold, and reminding audiences near and far that pop music is a space for fun, connection, and a good time amidst the chaos of the world.

Kintsukuroi – It’s Acrylic ft Neish

Sometimes a song can speak to a part of yourself that you never knew was listening. 'Kintsukuroi' by Meanjin (Brisbane) based group It's Acrylic does just that, with poignant and rich lyricism that gives light to the mental health struggles that sometimes get overlooked in facade of happy relationships. Featuring Neish, our local songstress with a gift for capturing the raw and deepest feelings, 'Kintsukuroi' is a song that will stop you in your tracks, like a soft smile of recognition from a stranger across a crowded bar. Many artists are quick to liken their releases to that of Phoebe Bridgers or The National, but that truly feels like an apt likeness for this release.
