We all love getting to see our favourite artists in concert, experience our most listened to songs live, and celebrate the magic of cathartically screaming those lyrics that hit home in a room full of likeminded fans! Though these are all factors of excitement, my favourite part of heading out to a show is discovering support acts opening up the night. These support acts are chosen to fit the vibe of the main act you're seeing, and are guaranteed to have a song or two (or twenty) that is going to become your new favourite! Here are some exciting new tours coming to Brisbane over the next few months, with some epic Aussie artists on supports!
Bella Amor is taking her 'This Is Where I'm At' tour across the east coast to celebrate the launch of her debut EP! Opening for the under 18's show at MIC is Chloe Rae, the ultimate powerhouse actor, singer, dancer, and "guitar...erer" taking over the local scene! Chloe Rae has just released her new single, 'time and space', which you can listen to here.
Bella Amor is continuing the local love with local icons Worm Girlz and Jemzel starting the night for her 18+ Brisbane show at Blute's Bar. Worm Girlz are an ultimate live act to catch, creating a safe space to wriggle and cathartically scream about patriarchal pressures! Worm Girlz have recently released their beauty-standard combatting anthem 'Get Ugly'. Jemzel is no stranger to taking the across the state, with a number of epic support slots under her belt! Get ready to boogie along to her dreamy pop soundtrack with her latest release, 'Potent Kiss'.
You can find tickets to the Bella Amor tour here.
G Flip has just announced that their 'Dream Ride' tour will be coming home to Australia next February, to celebrate their upcoming album set for release this September 5th. Alongside Canadian rockers The Beaches, Aussie darling Ayesha Madon will be opening every show with her catalogue of lyrically deep tracks. Get around her latest track 'Jenga' and buy a ticket to this tour when general sale opens this Monday!
Montaigne is bringing their 'It's Hard To Be A Fish' album tour us later this month, with absolute local darling neish supporting on the Brisbane show! neish is truly a breathtaking live act, with rich lyricism and gorgeous vocals that captivate any room with ease. Get your ears around neish with her latest release, 'i love you (affection)', and be ready to sob a little when you hear it live!
