Sydney-based virtuoso guitarist Plini Roessler-Holgate, known mononymously as Plini, is set to embark on an Australian tour of his 2020 sophomore album Impulse Voices. Tickets are flying out the door to shows on the east coast, with additional dates added in Perth and Adelaide due to popular demand.
Plini and his superstar band of Chris Allison, Jake Howsam Lowe and Simon Grove will be joined by special guest Stephen Taranto of The Helix Nebula in all of the Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne shows.
Plini has also released the Impulse Voices Remixes EP, which features re-imaginings of three of the album's biggest tracks from friends and remixers Dayce, Ariza and Jakub Zytecki.
The trio transform Plini's complex progressive rock instrumentals 'I'll Tell You Someday', 'Perfume' and 'The Glass Bead Game' into electronic cuts that are smooth and easy on the ears.
'I'll Tell You Someday' gets the club treatment from Dayce, while 'Perfume' and 'The Glass Bead Game' are given synthetic beats and flourishes of electronica from Ariza and Jakub Zytecki respectively.
"Much love to my friends Dayce, Ariza + Jakub Zytecki for lending their wild imaginations to these tracks," said Plini upon sharing the remixes.
The Impulse Voices Australian Tour will begin in mid-July and carry on towards the end of the month in a set of eight shows. Don't miss this chance to finally see the wonders of Impulse Voices performed live.
