Australian alt-pop afficiando merci, mercy recently released her scintillating single ‘Fall Apart’, which now comes with a vivacious video and exciting announcement of her debut EP No Thank You, No Thanks to be released October 16th alongside her first ever live show at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on October 15th. With sounds similar to artists Beabadoobee and Bea Miller, it's no wonder that the show has already been sold out with fans across the globe jealous of those with tix.
The six song EP draws on personal experiences and observations of youth. With trials and tribulations of love, self-doubt and mental health, merci, mercy shares: "It was quite a therapeutic process for me to write these songs and I hope they might connect with people who have been through similar experiences."
The music video for ‘Fall Apart’ shows the extensive universe in which merci, mercy’s mind lives, colliding with animation and her real self as a creative juxtaposition - a story of a tender heart, sheltered by a tough exterior.
"I was so excited to film my first video. I was a little nervous, but my sister bought champagne to loosen up during filming, and after a few takes, it was so fun. I love how Bianca has built an entire animated world for me, and with this video it’s just taken it to the next level.”
