Tyne-James Organ Reimagines ‘Not Ready For Love’

Updated: Dec 17, 2020

Melbourne indie artist Tyne-James Organ has released a stripped back version of his October single ‘Not Ready For Love’. Released on both Spotify and Youtube, this is not simply a cover but a reimagined version of his latest single. Previously an upbeat indie-pop tune, the stripped down version of ‘Not Ready For Love’ elevates its meaning to a whole new level.

Since his debut in 2016, Tyne-James Organ has been consistently teaming his powerful vocals and delicate lyricism together to drop incredible music. He’s sold out national headline tours, played some of Australia’s biggest music festivals and shared stages with the likes of The Lumineers, Middle Kids, and Lime Cordiale. This latest project truly showcases Tyne-James Organ’s versatility and depth as an artist.

‘Not Ready For Love (Stripped Back)’ has been simplified to acoustic guitar, rich vocals and heavy-hearted lyrics. This track takes a melancholic but hopeful approach to a love that failed due to bad timing. In the original version, uplifting instrumentals encourage us to accept things for what they are and hold high hopes for the future. With these instrumentals cut back and slowed down, Tyne-James Organ’s raw and unfiltered song writing demands your full attention.

Honey tell me why are you leaving?/ Is there nothing more that I could do?/ All alone in my head, I'm thinking/ There was a feeling that you always knew Well I got something to say but you're just running away/ Don't sweat it I know you're not ready/ Soon I'll be doing ok and you'll be stuck in your ways/ But don't sweat it I know you're not ready for love

Tyne-James Organ has truly brought things back to basics to deliver a raw and emotional performance. If you're a fan of the original, checking this out is a must.
