Fluir Drops Infectious New Single 'Higher Ground'

Electro-pop producer Fluir has dropped refreshing dance track 'Higher Ground.' It's a track with skin tight production and infectious hooks that can be played on repeat all night long.

Although there's inspiration from the island paradise vibes of RÜFÜS DU SOL and the airy loop work of Alice Ivy, 'Higher Ground' is driven by seamless vocal work by Fluir alongside much edgier lyrical cuts. The track's broody yet sophisticated atmosphere isn't for the sweaty festival mosh but instead the rooftop cocktail bar at 3am. The image is so clear, Fluir sits nursing a cocktail "go and take my heart now..." she invites, "we're never coming down from the higher ground..."

Fluir says, “In the past I've spent unnecessary energy worrying about what to say and how to say it lyrically.  For this song, I wanted to be free from that and allow the music to be at the forefront.  This track is about the freedom and excitement of getting lost in music and chasing the night with friends, wherever that may lead.”

On 'Higher Ground' Fluir worked with PNAU producer Sam Littlemore. The single is released May 17th - check below for the stream. Fluir is playing a free show at North Wollongong Hotel on May 26 - Tickets here
